SPINAL CORD INJURY

Spinal cord injury impairs the nerve fibres which send motor signals from the brain to the torso and the limbs. This causes paralysis of the muscles and loss of sensations. It also limits bladder and bowel control, sexual performance and affects blood pressure. As a keen runner, this is the cause that Sanzhar feels particularly strong about.
We've partnered with two of the world's leading Spinal Cord Injury foundations, helping them sponsor vital research, through active fundraising and exposure maximisation. We've raised over £9,500 that went towards the vital research.

Honeypot offer respite breaks and outreach support to young carers and vulnerable children. Life as a young carer is one of hardship, immense responsibility and lack of time for play. Honeypot gives the young carers their childhood back, through a range of activities, outings and psychological support. We've raised over £6,000, for Honeypot and are supporting them on an ongoing basis. Get involved!
