Running Richmond for UK's Oldest Youth Club

Since being elected as a Westminster City Councillor for St James's on May 7, 2026, my fundraising focus has shifted to supporting charities local to my ward, with a focus on St James's residents. This started a year ago with the Cardinal Hume Centre, and this year was no exception.

This year's charity partner is St Andrew's Youth Club. St Andrew’s is a community-based youth club, a registered charity, established over 159 years ago, which enriches young lives by providing a sense of belonging, fun and informal education to over 500 members each year, where they develop self-confidence, respect for others and build their abilities to contribute to society as good citizens. 

I'm delighted to have fundraised an amazing sum of £3,200, with the help of our wonderful supporters, donors and council colleagues. The money raised can help pay for 2,000 hot meals, a day trip for 320 children and many more educational, participative and fun activities. Thank you to everyone who helped me raise the crucial funds. Every £1 will help the centre to continue offering indispensable services to the St James's community.
